Ever want to just give up and go back to bed?

Some days I just want to go back to bed.  It is a struggle to gain enough energy to even face the day.  On those days I turn to scripture to get me through and remind me that there is hope ~ every day!

Proverbs 3:5
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Joshua 1:9 (my personal favorite)
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Deuteronomy 31:6 (another personal favorite!)
"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you."

Galatians 6:9
"Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary."

Romans 8:28
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Proverbs 18:10
"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe."

Exodus 14:14
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Ephesians 3:20
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."

Proverbs 3:6
"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

James 1:12
"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."

Isaiah 40:29
"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."

Psalm 91:4 (I actually love the whole Psalm)
"He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."

I John 3:1
"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!"

Hopefully these 15 wonderful scriptures can remind you that God love you and you are not alone.  He is with you every step of the way and can give you the strength and courage to continue the fight.  1 Timothy 6:12  "Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called."
